Clinical Leadership Role Supporting Person-Centred Disability Services
An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Clinical Nurse Manager 1 (CNM1) to join a well-established disability service in Sligo.
This role offers the opportunity to lead, mentor and support frontline teams while ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care for adults with physical, sensory and neurological disabilities.
Working within a rights-based service, the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting individuals to live as independently as possible while promoting dignity, choice, wellbeing and inclusion.
This position is ideal for an experienced nurse leader who is passionate about clinical excellence, staff development and delivering positive outcomes for the people they support.

What You’ll Do
- Lead, manage and support frontline care teams
- Mentor and supervise staff while promoting best practice
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality clinical care and support
- Support rights-based and person-centred service delivery
- Promote dignity, independence and wellbeing for service users
- Contribute to service planning, quality improvement and clinical governance
- Support staff training, development and performance management
- Build positive relationships with service users, families and multidisciplinary teams
- Ensure compliance with relevant policies, procedures and regulatory standards
What You’ll Need
- Nursing qualification with active NMBI registration
- Registered as RNID, RGN or RPN
- Minimum 3 years post-registration experience
- Current experience operating at CNM1 level
- Line management or significant supervisory experience
- Experience within disability services, healthcare or social care settings
- Experience delivering training and supporting staff development
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Full Driving Licence and willingness to drive for work purposes
- Commitment to rights-based, person-centred care
- Good standard of verbal and written English
- Eligibility to work in Ireland
