We are currently recruiting for a Clinical Nurse Manager 1 to join our client, a prestigious acute and day service private hospital in South Dublin. Position Details:
Location: South Dublin
Salary: €51,422 – €61,160 (DOE)
Hours: Full-time
Responsibilities:
Lead as a CNM1 in the Medical Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) with a proven track record of effective leadership.
Manage nursing services and ensure smooth patient flow within multidisciplinary teams.
Handle both clinical and managerial responsibilities, adhering to NMBI guidelines.
Drive professional development, maintain safe environments, and ensure compliance with standards.
Oversee equipment maintenance, risk management, and emergency protocols.
Initiate change management and facilitate meetings for service planning and resource optimization.
Promote a culture of education, research, and audits for continuous improvement.
Build collaborative relationships with stakeholders to enhance patient outcomes.
Thrive in fast-paced environments, with a results-oriented approach.
Qualifications:
Registered General Nurse and Registered Children Nurse with Nursing and Midwifery Board Ireland (NMBI), or Registered General Nurse with relevant Paediatric Experience and Training.
Demonstrated clinical and professional managerial ability and strong communication skills.
Minimum of five years of post-registration experience in an acute hospital setting, including at least two years in the specialty of theatre recovery or caring for ventilated children.
Completed a degree or relevant postgraduate nursing course. A management course is desirable.
